Greenland

Greenland –   the least populated country in the world & the largest island on earth, sits between the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans. Most of the landmass, certainly in winter, is covered by sheet ice.  Perhaps it should have been named Iceland instead of Greenland.  However in its short summer, when the ice has melted in the South, wildflowers bloom everywhere , the grass is green, the icebergs are smaller & the local people, many of whom are fishermen, delight in the daylight and on occasions, sunshine!
